Kingdom hearts revolves around the concept that everyone has light in them, and enough of it to conquer the looming darkness cast over by the greed and misdeeds in people's hearts. The main character, Sora, sets out with friends Donald and Goofy to help rid the worlds of creatures made from the darkness (heartless) and restore peace. In the mean time, the spunky kid resorts to finding his friends Riku and Kairi, who were lost after the worlds separated. After a while of searching, and two videogames later, Sora was able to reunite with his companions and live happily from then on.

character background/personality: Sora is a positive, young adult with a brave heart, accompanied by a kind soul. Through his endeavors, he’s been able to grow and nurture his youth into a slightly less naïve and well balanced individual. After settling down back home on his islands and beginning school again, Sora had been secretly yearning for a new adventure. Day in and day out, he sat and stared out of the same window, in his same seat, and wondered how he could accomplish this task. His mind always wandered to his friends he had met elsewhere, wondering how they were and what they were doing. Oh, how he wished for a new journey. After spending a day chatting with his companions at school, Sora took the same route home he always had. That evening, he drifted off to his lullabies of ocean waves, slumbering peacefully for his last time. Sadly, the terms ‘Be careful what you wish for,’ never occurred to be of threat to the young boy. He would have never expected to wake up to the hell of Silent Hill.
